Core Responsibilities
Clinical Leadership: Act as a primary point of contact for residents and families, ensuring 5-star care standards.
Comprehensive Documentation: Maintain accurate, timely, and clinical-grade documentation of assessments and interventions.
Order Oversight: Efficiently transcribe physician orders to MARs and manage pharmacy notifications for adjusted treatments.
Medication Administration: Safely prepare and administer medications and complex treatments as ordered.
Unit Management: Supervise and mentor LPNs and CNAs, fostering a collaborative environment focused on resident dignity.
Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work with the Director of Nursing and therapy teams to update and implement individualized care plans.
Qualifications
Licensure
Must possess an active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Wisconsin.
Leadership
Skills
Proven ability to lead a team and remain calm under pressure.
Experience
Long-term care or sub-acute experience is preferred, but we welcome all nurses passionate about geriatric care.
