About this role
District Registered Nurse – School Nursing. Muskegon, MI | Starting at $30,000 per year | August - June | 20 hr/week. Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 12:30pm.
20 hr/wk | .36 FTE. Following the school-year calendar, August - June. Preferred Start Date: August 10th.
Provide medical training and delegation for school staff. Chronic disease management. Write and implement individualized plans of care.
Respond to medical emergencies and coordinate Medical Emergency Response Teams (MERT). Collaborate with school administration, teachers, PT/OT, speech, social work, CNAs, and fellow RNs. Participate in 504 and IEP meetings.
Provide routine and complex nursing care including medication administration, assessing and treating illness and injuries, specialized nursing care (tracheostomy/ventilator support, G-tube feedings, catheter care, ostomies), public health education, provider consultations.
