Develops professional and clinical skills through attendance at staff development meetings, pertinent educational activities, and professional affiliations. Participates in the review process and the agency performance improvement program. Provides patient education, medication administration, wound dressing changes, and ostomy care as directed by the RN and ordered by the physician.

Displays flexibility in accepting assignment changes and participates in weekend/after-hours coverage and call rotation. Reports pertinent observations to the attending physician and RN, and implements changes in the patient care plan as directed. Communicates changes to the appropriate members of the home health care team.
