Acute Medicine RN (Full-Time, Days)

Role Overview

Provides direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within established nursing standards. Promotes patient-centered care, educating patients and families on disease management, post-treatment care, and medication use. Participates in ensuring patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, while engaging in ongoing professional development.

Key Responsibilities

Develops and documents individualized care plans with clear goals, collaborating with the interprofessional team, patients, and caregivers. Assesses physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, values, and cultural backgrounds. Utilizes critical nursing skills to evaluate and address patient needs comprehensively. Maintains a safety-sensitive approach, working alertly and safely at all times.

Qualifications & Skills

Nursing diploma or associate's degree required; bachelor's degree preferred. RN licensure required. No prior experience necessary; two years of experience preferred for advanced roles. Strong communication, assessment, and critical thinking skills.
