Qualifications
Current RN license through the New Jersey Board of Nursing
NJ school nurse certification
Must be knowledgeable about communicable disease prevention and medication protocol
Strong preference for school-based or pediatric experience
Collaborative, constructive team building skills are required
Excellent organizational skills and time management skills
Must have a current CPR certification and pass a comprehensive background check.
Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with students, parents, and other staff members.
Knowledge of HIPAA laws and ability to maintain high level of confidentiality and use sound judgment in all aspects of the job
