Requirements
- Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM); licensed or eligible for licensure in the States of Iowa and Illinois or eligible; Board-certified or Board-eligible; complete or be eligible to complete requirements for the practice of medicine in the States of Iowa and Illinois, including state agreements for payment of health services under Medicare and Medicaid; eligible for Drug Enforcement Agency permission to prescribe and maintain controlled substances.

Duties
- Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) will work with our collaborative team of physicians and midwives to provide individualized, patient-centered care for women of all ages. CNM will provide a wide variety of women’s health services that include but is not limited to:
- Prenatal Care
- Labor and Delivery
- Postpartum Support
- Gynecological Concerns
- Women’s Annual Exams
- STD/STI Screening/Treatment
- Family Planning Services
Provides at least the minimum scheduled hours of office and on-call practice; carries out supervisor preceptorships of extender staff and other appropriate educational preceptorships; participates in appropriate professional continuing medical education as appropriate to provider's individual information needs and maintain licensure; maintain knowledge of community resources for both social and medical referrals.
