- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history reviews using advanced EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Epic and Cerner.
- Administer medications and injections accurately, including IV infusions and medication management for acute pain, hospice, or chronic conditions.

- Perform specialized procedures such as suturing, catheterization (including urinary and vascular), tube feeding management, and ostomy care.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans aligned with NCQA standards and ICD coding requirements (ICD-9/10).
- Manage complex cases involving trauma medicine, critical care (ICU/Level I & II trauma centers), neonatal resuscitation procedures, or pediatric care including PICU experience.
- Provide patient education on health coaching, medication administration, infection control practices, and disease management strategies tailored to geriatrics, behavioral health, or developmental disabilities.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations by maintaining accurate medical documentation and secure handling of medical records in electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems).
- Assist in diagnostic evaluations such as laboratory specimen collection/processing, radiologic procedures like mammography or CT scans, and laboratory experience including phlebotomy.
- Support patients through urgent care scenarios or emergency room situations with proficiency in airway management, basic life support (BLS), trauma response, and critical care response procedures.
- Participate in case management activities for long-term care facilities or assisted living environments to optimize patient safety and quality of life.

- Valid RN license with current registration in the applicable state or region.
- Proven experience working with diverse patient populations across settings such as hospitals, nursing homes, hospice, or home care environments.
- Strong clinical skills including IV insertion, aseptic technique, wound suturing, catheter care, and ventilator management.
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems like Epic or Cerner; experience managing electronic health records efficiently.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy & physiology principles, ICD coding (ICD-9/10), CPT coding for procedures and services.
- Experience working within trauma centers (Level I & II), ICU units, emergency medicine departments or similar high-acuity settings is highly preferred.
- Ability to perform physical examinations accurately and conduct diagnostic evaluations effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to educate patients on treatment plans and collaborate seamlessly with healthcare teams.
- Certification in basic life support (BLS) is required; additional certifications such as ACLS or neonatal resuscitation are advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive situations with compassion while adhering to HIPAA standards for patient privacy.
