Registered Nurse - MICU

Position Overview: Provides direct nursing care in a Medical ICU setting, implementing and monitoring patient care plans, and coordinating multidisciplinary care to ensure well-organized patient treatment. Administers physician and nursing orders, assesses patient conditions, and communicates updates effectively. Coordinates discharge planning with healthcare team members. Supports team cohesiveness and collaborates with supervisors and leadership present daily. Qualifications: Licensed Registered Nurse with licensure from the Alabama Board of Nursing, with a diploma from an accredited nursing school. Certifications include BLS (within 30 days) and ALS (within 6 months), accepted from AHA or ARC. Key Skills and Responsibilities: Demonstrates strong patient care skills, teamwork, adherence to policies, and effective communication. Willing to mentor new graduates and engage in a collaborative healthcare environment.
