About this role
Administers patient care in an area in a hospital or inpatient/observation setting where an acute care patient receives active treatment for an injury, episode of illness, a medical condition, or post intervention with assessment. Includes responsibilities such as assessing patient needs, developing individualized plans of care, serving as preceptor/charge nurse/unit educator, documenting patient care, demonstrating competency in nursing skills, and coordinating care. Also includes Hospital Care at Home program functions for virtual and in-home nursing care.
Qualifications
Graduate of approved school of nursing, 1 year experience required (2 years acute care for Hospital Care at Home), current State of Florida RN license or valid eNLC multistate RN license, current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification, ACLS/NRP/PALS/TNCC required for certain areas, valid driver's license and reliable transportation for Hospital Care at Home.
