Who Are You?
You are a Registered Nurse who thrives in a team environment and is committed to providing compassionate, person-centered care. You’re highly skilled in clinical assessment, clear communication, and care coordination, with a passion for serving older adults. You are dependable, attentive, and ready to make a meaningful difference—especially during your 12-hour shifts and every other weekend rotation.
A Day in the Life Assess and monitor residents' conditions, develop care plans, and evaluate outcomes. Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and nursing standards. Provide guidance and supervision to LPNs, CMAs, and CNAs during your shift.
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, social workers, and other members of the care team. Communicate regularly with residents and their families, offering updates and emotional support. Ensure documentation is accurate and timely in accordance with regulatory standards.
Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies or changes in resident condition. Support and promote infection control practices and ensure a safe environment for residents and staff. Qualifications License/Certification Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Kansas.
Current CPR certification required. Experience Previous experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or assisted living preferred. Skills Excellent clinical judgment and critical thinking.
