We are seeking a dynamic and experienced RN Director of Homecare Pediatrics to lead our specialized pediatric home health services. - Partner with referral sources and the intake team to facilitate referral management, strengthen community relationships, and ensure a seamless patient onboarding experience.
- Lead quality improvement efforts, including participation in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) activities, compliance initiatives, and quality committee meetings.
- Ensure all program operations, clinical services, and personnel practices comply with agency policies, regulatory requirements, contractual obligations, and standards of care.
- Collaborate with Finance and Operations teams to ensure authorizations and approvals for services are obtained and maintained in a timely manner.
- Oversee the onboarding of new cases, service delivery processes, and ongoing relationship management with referral partners, patients, and families.
- Direct recruitment, onboarding, orientation, staff development, competency assessments, and clinical supervision in partnership with the Nurse Educator.
- Conduct field visits to evaluate nursing staff performance and provide direct patient care support during periods of high demand or staffing shortages.
- Manage and evaluate clinical staff performance, ensuring care is delivered in accordance with physician orders, individualized care plans, and established clinical standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred in Nursing Administration, Nursing Education, Clinical Practice, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of five (5) years of progressive nursing experience, including at least three (3) years in a supervisory or management role.
- Strong pediatric clinical experience required.
- Active and unrestricted New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
- Thorough knowledge of New York State Department of Health (DOH) regulations and home care compliance standards preferred.
- Previous experience within a Certified Home Health Agency (CHHA) or Licensed Home Care Services Agency (LHCSA), particularly in pediatric home care, strongly preferred.
Pay: $130,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
