More about our team Join a specialty nursing unit where you can build valuable clinical expertise while making a meaningful impact on patient outcomes. Our 34-bed unit is currently staffed for 21 patients, with plans to grow alongside census needs. Nurses enjoy the rewarding experience of seeing patients progress and stabilize over time, something not always possible in traditional inpatient settings. The team is highly collaborative, supportive, and committed to maintaining a safe environment for both patients and staff, creating a strong sense of camaraderie and purpose every day. How you'll contribute A Behavioral Health RN who excels in this role: Performs plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, as well as other medical care treatment. Documents patient care given. Monitors, records, and communicate patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family. Assists patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation. Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs. Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
