About this role
Trains research staff, leads staff and/or oversees clinical trials from start-up to closeout. May develop or contribute to standard operating procedures (SOP) and processes. Attends and participates in leadership meetings, represents TJU internally and externally, develops content and presents, community representation, committee representation, oversees entire research operation in department, serves as an expert consulting at the institutional level. Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson. Collects and documents clinical information (data) from study participants. Provides patient education regarding research study. Obtains informed consent and supports enrollment into clinical trials. Interacts with consortium members, organizes meetings and communicates with participating institutions, tracks and records progress, schedules meetings, records and distributes minutes.
RN License - State of Pennsylvania or State of New Jersey
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred)
SoCRA Certification (preferred)
ACRP Certification (preferred)
Ability to lift 50 pounds
