Public Health Nurse position at Allegheny County in Pittsburgh, PA. Salary: $79,357 per year. Reporting to the Director of Infectious Disease, the Public Health Nurse facilitates public health programs and services, organizes immunization clinics, infection prevention, and education.

Monitors and enhances screening and testing for infectious diseases. Works with incarcerated patient population in correctional facility setting. Performs comprehensive individual assessments, provides immunizations and treatments, documents in healthcare records, follows PA-NEDSS regulations, provides harm-reduction education, and develops training programs.

Requires graduation from accredited nursing program, current Pennsylvania RN licensure, CPR/BLS certification, Act 33/34 clearances, and CIC certification within 6 months of hire. BSN and infection control experience preferred.
