About this role
U. S. Army Perioperative Nurse ensuring proper care and safety of patients throughout the surgical journey. Responsibilities include caring for surgical patients before, during, and after operative procedures; planning and organizing nursing services before surgery; supervising patient experience with the surgical team; and providing clinical, administrative, safety, educational, and research support. Position available in Active Duty or Army Reserve.

Requirements
- ★ Must have a bachelor’s degree in nursing accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) or accepted by the National League of Nursing (NLN) (if older degree) ★ Must pass the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX) and board certifications ★ Must have current, valid, and unrestricted nursing license ★ To serve Active Duty, must be working full-time as a perioperative nurse for at least 1-year while your application is in review ★ For Army Reserve, must have no less than 6 months experience as an RN within the past year at the time of application review ★ Must complete 66E Perioperative Nursing Course OR request a waiver for documented perioperative nursing experience ★ Must be a U.S. citizen for Active Duty ★ Must have at least a permanent U.S. residency for Army Reserve
