Position Details

  • Contract: 13 weeks

Schedule

4 × 10-hour shifts

  • Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
  • Weekly Pay: $2,400–$2,500 Gross
  • Local candidates accepted
  • Call: One 8-hour on-call shift per week, as needed
  • Weekend call rotation may apply

Responsibilities

  • Provide safe, high-quality nursing care in the Operating Room
  • Scrub and assist with complex neurosurgical procedures
  • Circulate during surgical procedures
  • Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesia, and the OR team
  • Maintain accurate patient documentation and follow facility protocols
  • Support a fast-paced Level I Trauma surgical environment

Requirements

All eligible candidates must have

  • Active Illinois RN License
  • Recent Operating Room/OR experience
  • Neurosurgery experience – REQUIRED
  • Level I Trauma experience – REQUIRED
  • Scrub experience – REQUIRED
  • Experience with:
  • Stereotactic neurosurgical cases
  • Neuro spine cases
  • Craniotomy cases, including tumor resections
  • Strong clinical and communication skills
  • Ability to work the required 4×10 schedule and call rotation
  • EPIC experience preferred

Additional Assignment Information

  • Weekend call rotation may be required
  • Candidates with less than 2 years of experience may be considered
