Position Details

Schedule
4 × 10-hour shifts
- Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- Weekly Pay: $2,400–$2,500 Gross
- Local candidates accepted
- Call: One 8-hour on-call shift per week, as needed
- Weekend call rotation may apply
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, high-quality nursing care in the Operating Room
- Scrub and assist with complex neurosurgical procedures
- Circulate during surgical procedures
- Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesia, and the OR team
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and follow facility protocols
- Support a fast-paced Level I Trauma surgical environment
Requirements
All eligible candidates must have
- Active Illinois RN License
- Recent Operating Room/OR experience
- Neurosurgery experience – REQUIRED
- Level I Trauma experience – REQUIRED
- Scrub experience – REQUIRED
- Experience with:
- Stereotactic neurosurgical cases
- Neuro spine cases
- Craniotomy cases, including tumor resections
- Strong clinical and communication skills
- Ability to work the required 4×10 schedule and call rotation
- EPIC experience preferred
Additional Assignment Information
- Weekend call rotation may be required
- Candidates with less than 2 years of experience may be considered
