- Coordinate patient appointments, follow-up schedules, and referrals to ensure timely access to care
- Manage and update comprehensive medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies
- Assist healthcare providers with documentation of patient encounters, ensuring accuracy and completeness using medical terminology
- Facilitate communication between patients, physicians, and support staff to optimize care delivery
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive patient information and ensure adherence to privacy standards
- Support the preparation of medical documentation required for billing, insurance claims, and audits
- Monitor patient care plans and assist in tracking treatment progress to support clinical teams
- Organize training sessions for staff on medical record management, HIPAA compliance, and documentation protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to streamline administrative workflows and improve patient experience

- Strong knowledge of nursing practices, physiology, and human anatomy
- Proficiency in medical terminology and documentation standards
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and medical record management software
