Pay Rate: $47.00 – $50.00 per hour Employment: W2 through Aptive Resources (Employer of Record)
Schedule
Multiple shift options available (8-hour and 12-hour) – Days, Evenings, and Nights Contract Length: Long-term (up to 2 years)

Position Responsibilities
- The Medical-Surgical RN will provide direct and indirect nursing care within acute care and telemetry inpatient units.
Responsibilities include
- Patient assessments and symptom management
- Medication administration and IV therapy
- Telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation
- Admissions, discharges, and transfers
- Central line care and blood product administration
- Heparin drip management
- Chest tube and drainage tube management
- Foley catheter, ostomy, and wound care (including wound vac)
- Pre-operative and post-operative nursing care
- Pain management and oncology symptom support
- Monitoring for sepsis, respiratory complications, and cardiac conditions
- EMR documentation and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduation from an ACEN- or CCNE-accredited nursing program (mandatory)
- Current Ohio RN license or multi-state Compact RN license
- Current BLS / CPR certification (American Heart Association)
- Minimum of two (2) years of direct patient care experience within the last three years
- Acute care Medical-Surgical nursing experience preferred
- Ability to interpret telemetry and cardiac monitoring
- Strong electronic health record documentation skills
- Ability to work days, nights, evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
Additional Submission Requirements
- Three (3) professional work references (name, title, organization, email, and phone number) from at least two different employers
- OIG exclusion list verification
