Pay Rate: $47.00 – $50.00 per hour Employment: W2 through Aptive Resources (Employer of Record)

Schedule

Multiple shift options available (8-hour and 12-hour) – Days, Evenings, and Nights Contract Length: Long-term (up to 2 years)

Position Responsibilities

• The Medical-Surgical RN will provide direct and indirect nursing care within acute care and telemetry inpatient units.

Responsibilities include

• Patient assessments and symptom management
• Medication administration and IV therapy
• Telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation
• Admissions, discharges, and transfers
• Central line care and blood product administration
• Heparin drip management
• Chest tube and drainage tube management
• Foley catheter, ostomy, and wound care (including wound vac)
• Pre-operative and post-operative nursing care
• Pain management and oncology symptom support
• Monitoring for sepsis, respiratory complications, and cardiac conditions
• EMR documentation and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduation from an ACEN- or CCNE-accredited nursing program (mandatory)
• Current Ohio RN license or multi-state Compact RN license
• Current BLS / CPR certification (American Heart Association)
• Minimum of two (2) years of direct patient care experience within the last three years
• Acute care Medical-Surgical nursing experience preferred
• Ability to interpret telemetry and cardiac monitoring
• Strong electronic health record documentation skills
• Ability to work days, nights, evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled

Additional Submission Requirements

• OIG exclusion list verification
