*Position Summary…*

Under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), the Medication Nursing Assistant administers medications and treatments to stable residential students and completes all required documentation in accordance with established nursing standards and regulatory requirements.

*What You’ll Do (and Why It Matters)…* Each task you take on plays a role in keeping students healthy, safe, and ready to learn and grow.

In this role, you will

• Administer scheduled and PRN medications as delegated by an RN or LPN
• Follow the *Six Rights of Medication Administration* at all times
• Document all medication administration or refusals in the MAR per policy
• Count, administer, and document controlled substances
• Monitor students’ medical needs in accordance with MARs, TARs, IEPs, and residential care plans
• Obtain and record vital signs, heights, and weights as requested
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant medication room and cart
• Monitor medication inventory and coordinate reorders with pharmacy and central supply
• Report medication errors, adverse reactions, or concerns promptly to nursing staff
• Communicate with parents/guardians regarding medication supplies
• Follow all infection control and safety protocols
• Complete required continuing education and professional development

• High School Diploma or GED/HiSET
• Valid, unrestricted *Medication Nursing Assistant (MNA) license* issued by the *New Hampshire Board of Nursing *
• Minimum of *one (1) year of experience* as a licensed MNA
• Standard Driver’s License (Class C or D)

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $27.00 - $29.88 per hour
