About this role

The Chateau at Brooklyn Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is looking for an ever growing Wound Care Nurse to join our ever growing team.

Wound Care Nurse Duties Include but are not limited to

  • Responsible for accurate and timely documentation of wounds in the nurse's notes at least weekly
  • Responsible for all treatments required by licensed nurses on your shift and ensuring the wound care treatments are carried out at other times.
  • Evaluate high risk patients for pressure reduction interventions methods
  • Conduct body assessments and documentation on all new admissions per policy
  • Round with doctors weekly to assist with assessing residents

Wound Care Nurse Requirements/

Qualifications

  • Must be a self starter, hard working and dedicated professional willing to join our team.
  • Current and valid RN license in the State of NY
  • Active CPR Certificate
  • Point Click a Plus
  • Wound care certification desired
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience in LTC preferred but not required
  • Positive attitude and a team player

Salary: Up to $120,000 a year

(based on experience)

The salary for this position is negotiable and will depend on experience and qualifications; a full bonus plan will be included.
