About this role
Registered Nurse – Emergency Services- PRN - Rotating Shift. North Alabama Medical Center is part of Lifepoint Health. The Emergency Department is supported by a collaborative team of 70 RNs and nursing support staff, caring for approximately 46,000 patients annually. The 24/7, 36-bed Emergency Department team blends advanced clinical expertise with compassionate, patient-focused care. Also offers OASIS Emergency Services, an eight-bed unit dedicated to senior patients. RN performs plan of care interventions including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, monitors and communicates patient condition, assists patients with ADLs, collaborates across disciplines, evaluates patient and family learning needs, advocates for patient well-being, and participates in performance improvement and continuing education.

Requirements
- Current state RN license
- Associate's degree in nursing (required)
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (preferred)
- BCLS required
- ACLS preferred (must be obtained within 30 days of employment)
- PALS preferred (must be obtained within 30 days of employment)
- Handle with Care preferred (must be obtained within 30 days of employment)
- Two-three years of experience preferred, new grads welcomed to apply
