Job Summary Join our compassionate healthcare team as a CNA/Caregiver, where your dedication and skills will make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients and residents. In this vital role, you will provide essential personal care, assist with daily activities, and support medical needs in various healthcare settings. Duties • Assist patients and residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and dignity • Monitor vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration, recording findings accurately in electronic health records (EHR systems) • Support medication administration under supervision, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to HIPAA guidelines for patient confidentiality • Use patient transfer methods such as Hoyer lifts or manual handling techniques to safely move individuals between beds, chairs, or wheelchairs • Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia or Alzheimer's disease, implementing memory care strategies and maintaining a safe environment • Assist with medical procedures such as catheter care or basic wound management following aseptic techniques • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to coordinate care plans and address needs promptly Requirements • Valid CNA certification or equivalent caregiving credentials recognized by state licensing boards • Experience working with diverse populations including geriatrics, pediatrics, or individuals with developmental disabilities • Knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) or electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as Epic or Cerner • Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting and safe manual handling practices in accordance with safety standards • Basic life support (BLS) certification required; CPR certification preferred • Prior experience in long-term care facilities, hospitals (including ICU or trauma centers), assisted living communities, or home care settings is highly desirable • Strong communication skills and compassionate caregiving approach to foster trust and comfort among patients Join us in delivering high-quality patient care through your expertise and enthusiasm!
