CNA/Caregiver

Duties • Assist patients and residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and dignity • Monitor vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration, recording findings accurately in electronic health records (EHR systems) • Support medication administration under supervision, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to HIPAA guidelines for patient confidentiality • Use patient transfer methods such as Hoyer lifts or manual handling techniques to safely move individuals between beds, chairs, or wheelchairs • Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia or Alzheimer's disease, implementing memory care strategies and maintaining a safe environment • Assist with medical procedures such as catheter care or basic wound management following aseptic techniques • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to coordinate care plans and address needs promptly Requirements • Valid CNA certification or equivalent caregiving credentials recognized by state licensing boards • Experience working with diverse populations including geriatrics, pediatrics, or individuals with developmental disabilities • Knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) or electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as Epic or Cerner • Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting and safe manual handling practices in accordance with safety standards • Basic life support (BLS) certification required; CPR certification preferred • Prior experience in long-term care facilities, hospitals (including ICU or trauma centers), assisted living communities, or home care settings is highly desirable • Strong communication skills and compassionate caregiving approach to foster trust and comfort among patients Join us in delivering high-quality patient care through your expertise and enthusiasm!
