About this role

Community Health Network has an excellent opportunity available on the Center for Advanced Heart Care team located within Community Heart and Vascular Hospital. The Registered Nurse-Ambulatory functions as a member of the physician practice team, conducting duties such as phone triage, scheduling appointments, nurse protocols, patient education, prescription refill, completing FMLA/STD paperwork, and other related tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • RN
  • Nurse Licensure Compact
  • Graduate of a NLN, ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program, or three years related professional nursing experience
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license to practice in the state of Indiana as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
  • At least one year of nursing experience required, preferably in cardiology
  • Previous medical office/outpatient experience and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience preferred
