About this role
Perform direct patient care within the scope of the Nurse Practice Act, with emphasis on the critically ill pediatric patient. Organize, implement, modify, evaluate, document and maintain the plan of care. This plan will be individualized, family centered, and holistic. Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment. Participate in PICU initiatives and process improvement. Maintain high-quality age specific care for the neonatal, pediatric, adolescent and young adult population. Support the mission, vision and values of the organization.

Requirements
- RN (Registered Nurse)
- Associate Degree
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
- Basic Cardiac Life Support or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Minimum of 72 hours per pay period during seasonal period
- Four (4) weekend shifts required each 4 week schedule period
- Two (2) holiday shifts during 32-week period
