About this role
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Telemetry position at a cardiac-focused hospital unit in Tampa, FL, with weekend requirements and a 13-week contract. Hospital telemetry unit with a cardiac focus (Pepin Heart). Patient population includes heart failure, arrhythmias, chest pain, shortness of breath, COPD exacerbation, GI bleed/abdominal pain, UTI, altered mental status, syncope, and ESRD/dialysis patients. Shift: 12-hour days, 0645-1915. 36 hours per week. Weekend shifts required. No on-call responsibilities. Floating to other med/surg areas is possible.

Requirements
- Active FL RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
- Telemetry nursing experience required
- Current BLS certification required
- Two doses of COVID-19 vaccine or approved declination form
- COVID vaccination card required for consideration
- Experience working with cardiac care patients
