The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Department (ED) provides high-quality, direct patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced Emergency Room setting. This role is responsible for planning, delivering, and managing patient care using the nursing process and adhering to the standards of nursing practice. The RN assesses and prioritizes patients' needs, initiates appropriate interventions, and collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to promote optimal patient outcomes. This role requires a current RN license and registration.
Requirements
Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Missouri or the ability to obtain
Basic Life Support (BLS), active or within 30 days of hire
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), active or within 6 months of hire
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), active or within 6 months of hire
Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) within 1 year of hire
1-2 years of experience in emergency nursing preferred
Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems preferred
