At Wellstar Kennestone Hospital, we're seeking experienced, compassionate Registered Nurses to join our Medical Specialties team. If you're passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, we'd love to have you on our team.
What You'll Do
Deliver safe, high-quality, patient-centered nursing care using the nursing process.
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care.
Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, therapists, case managers, and other members of the healthcare team.
Educate patients and their families to support positive health outcomes.
Utilize critical thinking and evidence-based practices to guide clinical decision-making.
Accurately document patient care in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards.
Foster a culture of teamwork, safety, and service excellence.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives, shared governance, and ongoing professional development.
Serve as a mentor or preceptor as opportunities arise.

Requirements
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or graduate of an accredited school of nursing (required)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) (preferred)
- Minimum of one (1) year of recent, relevant Registered Nurse experience in an acute care setting
- Current Georgia Registered Nurse license or eligibility through the Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required)
- ACLS certification (preferred)
