About this role
KlearMind is seeking a personable, compassionate, and highly skilled *Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) with IV Therapy Certification* to join our growing outpatient clinical team.
We are looking for someone who is *confident and experienced with peripheral IV placement* and enjoys creating an exceptional patient experience. Our clinic provides individualized outpatient treatments in a comfortable, patient-focused environment.
This position will primarily support our clinical team by establishing IV access, preparing patients for treatment, monitoring patients, documenting care, and assisting with the day-to-day clinical workflow within the LVN scope of practice.

- Perform peripheral IV insertion within LVN scope of practice and under appropriate clinical supervision
- Prepare patients and treatment areas for scheduled IV and other clinical therapies
- Obtain and document vital signs and relevant patient information before, during, and after treatment
- Monitor patients throughout treatment and promptly report changes or concerns to the RN or appropriate licensed provider
- Assist the RN and other licensed providers with patient care and treatment workflow
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record
- Follow infection-control, patient-safety, and clinical protocols
- Maintain clean, organized, and appropriately stocked treatment areas
- Provide patient education and reinforce treatment instructions as directed by the clinical team
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, RNs, and other team members to provide safe and efficient patient care
- Provide an exceptional patient experience by helping patients feel comfortable, informed, and supported throughout their visit
- Assist with additional clinical duties appropriate to LVN scope of practice as needed
Qualifications
*Required:*
- Current and active California LVN license
- Current *IV Therapy Certification*
- *Strong peripheral IV insertion skills*
- Current BLS certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
- Ability to recognize changes in patient condition and appropriately escalate concerns
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced outpatient clinical environment
- Professional, dependable, compassionate, and team-oriented
*Preferred:*
- Previous outpatient infusion, IV therapy, wellness, urgent care, or similar clinical experience
- Experience working in an outpatient medical practice
- Experience with electronic health records
- Strong patient-service or customer-service background
