Assignment Overview Shift: Days, 3x12hrs Hours: 36 hrs/wk Start Date: Jun 29, 2026 Length: 8 weeks Openings: 1 American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Long-Term Care (LTC) travel position in Minnesota, requiring a MN RN license and at least 2 years of nursing experience.
Details Long-term care (LTC/SNF) setting with two units: Tamarack (20 beds, general LTC) and Aspen (20 beds, Memory Care Unit) Day shift, 12-hour shifts (7a–7p) with weekend rotation (typically every other weekend, possibly more) RN staffing ratios: 1 RN per unit during days, 1 RN covering both units at night CNA support on unit: up to 3 CNAs per unit on days/evenings, reduced coverage at night Physicians round daily with 4–5 private practice physicians on staff EMR: MEDITECH (notes also reference Point Click Care — experience with either may be applicable) 8-week contract No floating required Holiday coverage required Requirements Active MN RN license required Minimum 2 years of RN experience required Current BLS certification required LTC or SNF experience strongly applicable to this role BSN not required Must be flexible, as assignments can change during shifts Additional Information Dementia/memory care training required prior to start 3-shift orientation provided for RNs Mandatory overtime may be required Facility is actively building a culture of teamwork — candidates must be able to contribute positively to that environment Any scrub color is acceptable First-time travelers are welcome to apply Holiday coverage is expected
