Macungie, West, Center Valley, Upper Perk, Quakertown, Kutztown, Whitehall. Care Now hours Monday through Friday 8a-9p, Saturday and Sunday 8a-8p Will be scheduled 2 days a week one • 12 hour shift and one • 8 hour shift Not set days Your • 8 hour shifts could be a variation of 8-4, 1-9, 12-8, 10-6 Your • 12 hour shifts are 8a-8p and 9-9. Holiday rotation, we are closed Christmas Day and Thanksgiving We do have a weekend rotation which is every 3rd weekend.

The Registered Nurse (RN) Urgent Care delivers nursing care for patients across their life span, and through the nursing process, assesses plans, implements, and documents the effects of care. Within the urgent care setting care will be provided to occupational health patients (physicals, drug screens, injury care etc.,) and patients that arrive with an acute illness/injury. This individual will work cooperatively with ancillary, nursing and other patient-team personnel to maintain standards for professional nursing practice. These nursing functions of the RN are carried out according to the Pennsylvania Nurse Practice Act, Hospital policy, the hospital Mission Statement, and the Philosophy of the Department of Nursing.

Requirements

  • RN License (current license to practice in the state of Pennsylvania)
  • BLS Certification
  • Experience in occupational medicine and urgent care is preferred
  • Ability to lift 75 pounds
  • Acute care experience
  • Urgent care center experience
