- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, medical history, and physiological evaluations to develop tailored treatment plans.
- Administer IV infusions with precision and aseptic technique, ensuring patient safety and comfort during procedures.
- Provide specialized treatments following established protocols.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care for patients with complex conditions such as infectious disease, geriatrics, or chronic pain management.
- Educate patients on functional medicine principles, nutritional support, lifestyle modifications, and wellness strategies to promote long-term health.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation within electronic health records (EHR) systems like Epic or Cerner while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
- Monitor patient responses during treatments like dialysis or cardiac catheterization procedures and respond promptly to any adverse reactions or emergencies.
Qualifications
- Valid RN license with current registration and compliance with state-specific requirements.
- Proven experience in IV infusion therapy, aseptic technique, and medication administration a must.
- Functional/Integrative Medicine knowledge preferred.
- Must be able to start IVs, patient assessments, injections, supplements, infusions, and working in a concierge-style outpatient environment.
- Strong background in functional medicine concepts and holistic patient care approaches.
- Hands-on experience working within EMR/EHR systems such as Practice Better.
- Critical care experience including ICU or emergency medicine settings is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of laboratory procedures including specimen collection and processing
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate diverse patient populations effectively.
