The LPN thing follows you into the bridge program

Three years of practical nursing, currently in the bridge, and I have been told twice this semester that I will really be a nurse soon.
Both times by people who meant it kindly. That is somehow the part that gets me.
Curious whether anyone else has carried a credential people rank, and how you answer it without turning every conversation into a defence of your own resume.

Same shape from a different angle, because the setting gets ranked the way your licence does. What I settled on is agreeing with the surface and ignoring the ranking. Soon, yes. Then carry on talking.
Arguing invites them to explain the hierarchy to you, and nobody has ever enjoyed that conversation.

The kindly ones are harder than the rude ones, which sounds backwards until you have had both. There is nothing to push against.
What I have noticed is that it stops almost entirely once people have worked a shift with you. It is a distance problem more than a respect problem.
