The Director of Clinical Education primarily leads our Infection Control Program and oversees education for clinical team members. This role also participates in the on-call clinical rotation and, when needed, supports care delivery by working the med cart or assisting on the floor. Depending on our community needs and experience, this position may take on unit management responsibilities or additional delegated leadership tasks.
Key Responsibilities Manage and maintain the facility's Infection Control Program, including education, compliance, and best practices. Design and deliver orientation, competency training, and ongoing clinical education. Serve on the QAPI Committee, identifying learning opportunities that improve outcomes.
Mentor and support nursing staff, fostering confidence, accountability, and growth. Participate in on-call rotation and provide hands-on clinical support as needed. What We're Looking For Active Texas RN license is required.
Skilled nursing or long-term care experience (education or leadership experience preferred). A team-first mindset with the flexibility to lead, teach, and step in when support is needed. Passion for building strong teams and promoting a positive, respectful workplace culture.
