Job Description We are open to both LPN and MA applicants.

Licensed Practical Nurse

The psychiatric licensed practical nurse provides services in behavioral health inpatient under the supervision of a registered nurse. Provides care for patients with acute and chronic illnesses, and administers and monitors treatments under the supervision of a registered nurse based on the patient’s diagnosis, reason for entry into the system. Other duties include interdisciplinary team involvement and education and supervision of UAPs. Performs duties within the scope of the Missouri Nurse Practice Act and established organizational and regulatory requirements.

Minimum Requirements

Licensed Practical Nursing Certificate with a minimum of one year of experience in an inpatient setting. Current state of Missouri license as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Current BCLS.

Preferred Qualifications

Two years of Behavioral Health Experience IV Certification

Medical Assistant

Provides care for patients under the direction of the physician in the clinic and/or procedural setting. As a part of the healthcare team, they support administrative and clinical functions within their work setting. In collaboration with patients and the healthcare team collects and records important health information data as part of the admission and discharge process. Incorporates patient education into the plan of care. Completes and/or assists with procedures.

Minimum Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent. Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)-ceritification by the American Association of Medical Assistant (AAMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) –certification by American Medical Technologists (AMT) or Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA) –certification by National Association for Health Professionals.
