Duke Health Integrated Practice comprises more than 110 primary and specialty outpatient clinics, extending the reach of the Duke Health mission across the state of North Carolina.

We are seeking a Clinical Nurse II in our Fertility Center located in Morrisville, NC to be an integral member of the healthcare team and provide direct and indirect care to patients. Plan, provide, supervise and document professional nursing care utilizing the nursing process for patients in accordance with physician orders and established policies and procedures. Use professional nursing judgment to individualize the plan of care based on assessment of the patient's baseline needs and response to care.

Perform message management of in-basket communications and patient phone calls. Collaborates with providers to manage patient fertility cycles according to the plan of care. This includes but is not limited to IUI, IVF, and FET cycles.

Delegate tasks and supervise the activities of other licensed and unlicensed care providers. Rotating weekend requirement, no more than one weekend per month.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited Associate's Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma program
  • RN License
  • BLS Certification
  • 1-2 years RN experience
  • IV/Venipuncture experience
  • Fertility experience preferred
  • OB/GYN, L&D, Women's Health experience preferred
  • BSN encouraged within 2 years of start date, must complete within 7 years
