We are seeking a compassionate and clinically driven CMA, LPN, or RN to join our dynamic Neurology team at Lakeview Specialty Clinic . This role is ideal for a healthcare professional who is passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centered care while developing expertise in the complex and evolving field of neurological health.
As a member of our Neurology team, you will play an important role in supporting patients throughout their care journey—from coordinating appointments and preparing patients for visits to assisting with clinical care, patient education, care coordination, and follow-up. You will work closely with neurologists and other healthcare professionals to provide thoughtful, compassionate care to patients managing a wide range of neurological conditions. Whether you bring prior neurology experience or are excited to grow your specialty knowledge, you will be supported in developing your clinical skills within a collaborative, team-based environment.

Responsibilities
Specialized Patient Assessment & Triage
- Perform comprehensive telephone and in-clinic triage for patients presenting with neurological symptoms such as headaches, seizures, dizziness, neuropathy, and stroke warning signs.
- Assess symptom acuity using clinical judgment and evidence-based protocols to determine appropriate levels of care.
- Identify urgent and emergent neurological conditions and initiate timely intervention.
Neurology-Focused Care Coordination
- Coordinate care for patients with acute and chronic neurological disorders, ensuring timely access to diagnostics, treatments, and specialty services.
- Collaborate closely with neurologists, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Facilitate transitions of care, including hospital follow-ups and specialty referrals.
Patient & Caregiver Education
- Provide in-depth education on neurological diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and symptom management strategies.
- Support patients and families in navigating complex conditions such as epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, migraines, and neurodegenerative diseases.
- Promote patient self-management, safety, and adherence to care plans.
Clinical Documentation & Outcomes Management
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient interactions, assessments, and care coordination activities in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Monitor patient progress, track outcomes, and ensure appropriate follow-up care to support continuity and quality outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives related to neurological care delivery.
Qualifications
- Valid and current licensure/certification in one of the following:
