About this role
Designs curricula, develops programs of study, guides learners, and evaluates learning outcomes. Incorporates principles of adult learning in planning, implementing, and evaluating education programs. Plans, prepares, and maintains materials for educational programs, ensuring accuracy and relevance to the target audience.
Assists students and practicing nurses in identifying learning needs, strengths, and opportunities. Coordinates orientation of new staff, including agency personnel, into the organization. Evaluates the effectiveness of educational programming and adjusts content and teaching strategies based on learner needs.
Tracks educational offerings and shares information with unit leadership as needed. Provides educational opportunities that benefit nurses in all stages of career development. Supports the bedside nurse with Professional Enhancement Program (PEP) and participates in residency programs as assigned.
Other duties as assigned.
