Wedgewood Healthcare and Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The RN will oversee nursing staff, ensure high-quality resident care, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support the health and well-being of our residents.

Responsibilities

Oversee nursing staff and ensure residents receive care in accordance with individual care plans and state regulations. Coordinate and delegate nursing assignments based on staff qualifications and resident needs. Provide guidance, mentorship, and ongoing education to nursing staff. Collaborate with physicians, therapists, social workers, and other team members to develop and implement comprehensive care plans. Respond promptly to emergencies and medical situations, providing appropriate interventions. Perform additional duties as required to support resident care and facility operations.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Valid RN license in the state of Florida. CPR certification required. Minimum of 2 years of experience in long-term care or a related setting. Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
