Advanced Clinical Nurse

Responsibilities

This is a full time position, Monday - Friday, hours are generally 8:30 am - 5 pm (may need to flex a little earlier or stay a little later). This position is based at our downtown hospital's Occupational & Employee Health location, but will have to travel to community events and to our Lutherville Occupational & Employee Health practice from time to time.

Our Clinical Nurses Help Us Maintain This Goal By

Triaging patients who present with work related injuries Monitoring clinic flow to ensure patient are seen in a timely fashion Referral scheduling and authorizations. Patient education Support MA staff as needed. Various other duties as directed by management and clinical supervisors

Must possess a degree from an accredited nursing school - Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing One or more years experience in emergency room, occupational health facility, etc. License

Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to utilize one or more of the following: Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel Microsoft Outlook Meditech (if applicable to position) Epic (if applicable to position) Performance Manager/NetLearning Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language in an understandable manner. Must be able to work independently and possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action. Must possess the ability to effectively communicate and deal tactfully with other personnel, visitors, patients, physicians, customers, and the general public.
