As a Level 2 Trauma Center, the Surgery Department is a fast-paced unit with 18 state-of-the-art operating rooms and 2 labor and delivery suites with cutting-edge surgical equipment. We provide a wide range of surgical procedures, including robotic-assisted and minimally invasive surgeries to populations ranging from neonates to adults. The multidisciplinary team includes RNs, surgeons, anesthesia staff, and surgical technologists.

As a nurse, you will play a direct role in providing LOVE + MEDICINE for a broad range of patients in the Operating Room. Registered Nurses in the OR circulate and may scrub for surgeries while caring for patient’s one-on-one being their advocate and anticipating their needs during the surgery.

What you will do

Fulltime, 72 hours every two weeks (0.9 FTE)

9-hour shift: primarily day shifts (6:15am-3:45pm) with some PM and nights shifts, could be up to 6 off shifts within a 6-week scheduling period. Occasional weekend shifts as needed per unit need (cover PTO, FML, or vacations)

Night and Weekend call rotation. Call response time is 60 minutes or less

Holiday Rotation: 1-2 holidays per year

Starting pay of $38.96/hr and up, based on your years of experience, as well as generous shift/weekend/holiday differentials

What You'll Need

Minimum of an associate degree in nursing

An active RN license to work in Wisconsin

Current BLS for Health Care Providers

Prior RN experience is strongly preferred
