How you'll make an impact in this role
Coordinate holistic patient care by acting as the primary link between all clinical disciplines, ensuring every member of the healthcare team is aligned on the treatment plan. Deliver comprehensive, post-surgical care for adult cardiac surgery patients, vigilantly monitoring patient progress to ensure timely interventions and optimal recovery outcomes. Advocate for patient safety by accurately executing physician orders and maintaining comprehensive records that provide a clear, reliable roadmap of the patient’s healing journey.
Navigate the discharge process in collaboration with the wider team to ensure patients and their families have a seamless, supported transition from hospital to home.
What minimum qualifications you'll need
Licensure / Certification / Registration
BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing required.
Education
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
