Registered Nurse

Facility: East Cooper Medical Center. Location: Mount Pleasant, SC. Department: Emergency Room. Position Type: PRN. What We're Looking For: Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred. Experience: One year of acute nursing experience required. Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required. Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Red Cross or American Heart Association required. Must have current ACLS and PALS certification. TNCC certification within one year of hire. What You'll Do: Provides direct and/or indirect nursing care under the direction of the Department Director and/or Charge Nurse. Delivers safe, effective, and professional nursing care to assigned patients. Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates the healthcare needs of patients. Cares for a diverse patient population, from infants to geriatrics. Works collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient outcomes. Maintains a customer-focused approach and supports hospital and unit goals. Delivers nursing care that aligns with established practice standards and clinical guidelines. Must be willing and able to float to other comparable nursing units as needed.
