Registered Nurse - Emergency Department - Full-Time

Role: Registered Nurse providing high-level, technical patient care in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities Include

Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care using the nursing process. Supervising and collaborating with multidisciplinary team members to deliver age-appropriate, safe, and effective care. Providing clear communication, building relationships, and promoting a therapeutic environment. Ensuring accurate documentation and safe medication administration. Supporting patient and family education, and maintaining compliance with hospital standards. Taking initiative for professional growth and performance improvement.

Qualifications & Skills

Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred. Valid nursing license in the relevant state. Current Basic Life Support certification. Minimum of 12 months RN experience or completion of Nurse Residency. Knowledge of hospital policies, procedures, and standards of care. Ability to handle confidential information and work effectively in a team.

Work Environment & Physical Demands: Includes standing, moving, bending, reaching, and handling equipment, with exposure to blood and body fluids, skin and allergen irritants, and hazardous conditions. Visual acuity, communication, and physical stamina are essential.
