Licensed Registered Nurse
Extension Health is seeking a highly capable, patient-focused Licensed Registered Nurse to support our daily clinical operations within longevity services. This is an important clinical role within a high-touch, concierge-level, high-performance environment combining hands-on clinical execution with broad team engagement from front desk to doctor staff, clinical operations and patient experience ownership.
You will be critical to the daily clinical operations of the business—ensuring excellence in service delivery, operational efficiency, and quality of care. This role requires a balance of technical, clinical expertise and a commitment to delivering an elevated, seamless patient experience.
Key Responsibilities Clinical Care
- Perform select therapeutic services such as EBOO, PK Protocol, Ketamine IVs, Other IVs and patient monitoring
- Perform in-office blood draws and related submissions to Extension Health’s lab network
- Conduct accurate transcription of patient medical information into the EMR system
- Contact patients to perform medical history checks to clear them for HBOT, plasmapheresis, EBOO and/or other procedures
- Set-up procedures, triage patient flow, aid providers with therapeutic services in a clean, organized patient environment
- Perform administrative tasks with regards to patient care and follow-up such as labwork uploads and internal and external patient communication regarding follow-ups and results
- Provide operational support to the practice by maintaining medical equipment and keeping examination rooms properly maintained, supplied and ready for patients
Patient Experience Excellence
- Work closely with physician assistants, medical providers, and medical staff in order to optimize the patient workflow throughout the day
- Set and uphold the standard for a high-touch, concierge-level patient experience
- Ensure all patients are welcomed, educated, guided, and supported seamlessly through lab work and treatments
- Proactively address patient needs, concerns, and feedback to maintain a premium care environment
- Maintain a calm, clean, and welcoming clinical space aligned with brand standards
Safety, Quality & Compliance
- Own equipment performance and quality control processes across all modalities
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols
- Uphold full compliance with HIPAA and healthcare regulatory standards
- Ensure all labs and therapeutic services are delivered consistently, safely, and at the highest standard
Data & Administration
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient data, test results, and reports
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and experience
- Support broader operational initiatives and cross-functional coordination such as performing inventory counts and supporting order processing of clinical supplies
Clinical Collaboration
- Partner closely with physicians and clinical leadership to support patient care and reporting requirements such as bloodwork processing
- Act as a liaison between non-clinical staff and clinical staff to ensure seamless communication and execution to optimize the patient experience
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience with a proven track record within a hospital, clinical or high-touch service environment, driving performance, accountability, and excellence in patient care
- Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and operational excellence
- Deep attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and quality
- Strong interest in longevity, biohacking, and preventative health
- Knowledge of healthcare compliance, safety protocols, and privacy regulations
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills in a patient-facing environment
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-touch, concierge-style setting
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and active Registered Nurse license in the State of New York
- 2–5 years of experience in healthcare or wellness
- Proficiency in EMR systems, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Applications
- Strong organizational, operational, and multitasking capabilities
- Ability to lead under pressure while maintaining professionalism and composure
- Familiarity with clinical workflows
