About this role
BrightStar Care is seeking an experienced and dependable Part-Time Home Health Nurse to provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes throughout our service area. 20 hours per week, Monday (Half Day), Wednesday, and Friday. Occasional paid on-call weekend rotation approximately once per month.
Opportunity to pick up additional PRN visits if desired. Responsibilities include providing skilled nursing care in patients' homes, performing comprehensive patient assessments, developing and implementing individualized care plans, administering medications and treatments, performing wound care and dressing changes, managing PICC lines, ports, and other vascular access devices, coordinating with physicians, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members, completing accurate and timely electronic documentation, and ensuring compliance with agency policies and state regulations.

Requirements
- Active Texas RN license in good standing
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Experience with PICC line care (1 year required)
- Experience with Port access and maintenance (1 year required)
- Experience with Wound care (1 year required)
- Experience with Skilled nursing assessments (1 year required)
- Experience with Medication administration (1 year required)
- Previous home health experience (1 year required)
