Position

Summary

The Staff Nurse is responsible for managing and providing care to the patient and his/her family, and for directing and supervising nursing care provided by other members of the patient care team. The Staff Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, coordinating, delegating and evaluating the nursing care of patients in alignment with the professional practice model.

Minimum Education Required 2-Year College Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience with a Major in nursing

Additional Education Desired Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience with a Major in nursing Required Qualifications Degree in Nursing from a CCNE (Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education) or Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) accredited nursing program required. Current Ohio license or interim permit. *Experience in relevant care setting preferred.

11 East Rhodes is a 39-bed unit in the Acute Care Department. On 11 East Rhodes, we specialize in the care of the older adult population. Promoting the independence and health of our geriatric patients is our primary focus.

This requires virtual and hands on education which we provide to our staff, by concentrating on the specific issues the geriatric population can face when hospitalized. On our unit, nurses work directly with attending physicians to deliver optimal care in a team-centered environment. 11 East Rhodes is a wonderful place to learn and grow.

Our nursing practice is staff-driven through our Unit Leadership Committee and Evidence-Based Practice. Our team is passionate about staff development and advancement. We would love for you to join our team on 11 East Rhodes.
