American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN with strong cardiac/CVICU background and advanced cardiac device experience for a night shift hospital assignment.

Details

  • ICU setting caring for cardiac/medical intensive care patients with some step-down overflow
  • Manages patients with advanced cardiac devices such as LVAD, Impella, IABP, and TVP
  • Utilizes CRRT, invasive lines, and hemodynamic monitoring
  • Patient ratio of 2:1
  • Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours (19:00-07:30)
  • Floating to other qualified units or campuses may be required based on census needs

  • Active RN license (SC or Compact) required
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
  • Skilled in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
  • Experience with post cardiac surgery patients (not directly from OR)

  • Provide advanced critical care nursing to cardiac and medical ICU patients, including management of complex cardiac devices and hemodynamic monitoring
  • Must reside 50+ miles from the relevant flagship hospital (Prisma Richland or Prisma Greenville) to be eligible for this position
  • Candidates 50.0-99.9 miles away receive a reduced bill rate, while those 100+ miles away receive full bill rate
