American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN with strong cardiac/CVICU background and advanced cardiac device experience for a night shift hospital assignment.
Details
ICU setting caring for cardiac/medical intensive care patients with some step-down overflow
Manages patients with advanced cardiac devices such as LVAD, Impella, IABP, and TVP
Utilizes CRRT, invasive lines, and hemodynamic monitoring
Patient ratio of 2:1
Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours (19:00-07:30)
Floating to other qualified units or campuses may be required based on census needs
Requirements
Active RN license (SC or Compact) required
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
Skilled in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
Experience with post cardiac surgery patients (not directly from OR)
Experience with pre/post cardiac catheterization or intervention and sheath removal
Strong CCU, CVICU, or Cardiopulmonary ICU background required
At least 1 year of recent experience in a comparable ICU unit
Minimum 1 year of experience with Epic EMR required

Must reside 50+ miles from the relevant flagship hospital (Prisma Richland or Prisma Greenville) to be eligible for this position
Candidates 50.0-99.9 miles away receive a reduced bill rate, while those 100+ miles away receive full bill rate
