Healthcare Instructor

The Healthcare Instructor will manage the certification process of students seeking short-term, stackable credentials in the Healthcare Pathway. Responsible for student instruction and certifications from the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) and/or the nurse assisting certification (STNA) from the Ohio Department of Health (ODH). Provides instruction and skill development for NHA credentials including Phlebotomy Technician, EKG Technician, Certified Patient Care Technician, and Clinical Medical Assistant. Also provides STNA certification instruction using ODH curricula. Maintains documentation, tracks student progress, coordinates with Intervention Specialists for accommodations, and assists in recruitment and retention of students.
