About this role
AHMG Rothman Orthopedic at Innovation Tower
265 E. Rollins St., Suite 11100, Orlando, FL 32804
Monday – Friday 7:45am – 4:30pm will float to Lake Nona practice once a week
- Examines post-operative patients and performs wound checks for possible infections.
- Previews charts pre-operatively and documents any pertinent information including surgical clearances.
- Uses clinical judgment when directing patient's care based on information the patient shares during the post-op call.
- Completes required continuing education and training to maintain current, valid CPR certification and RN license, registration, or certification.
- Removes staples, sutures, and bandages as directed.
- Ensures that all certifications are prominently displayed and accessible for verification by employers and regulatory bodies.
- Other duties as assigned.
- **Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:**
- Demonstrates ability to communicate by reading, writing legibly, speaking and comprehending English effectively in order to carry out job requirements.
- Computer skills including, but not limited to, MS Office.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must be customer service oriented.
- Must have excellent decision making skills.
