About this role
Nebraska Medicine is looking for a talented individual to join our Home Infusion Pharmacy Department as the Home Infusion Nurse Coordinator. This is a hospital based role that will work alongside a multi-disciplinary team in support of transitioning patients to home based care. The Home Infusion Nurse Coordinator is responsible for directly improving health outcomes by connecting patients with Nebraska Medicine Home Infusion services.
They will serve as a point of contact to collaborate between the Home Infusion Pharmacy, inpatient discharge teams and outpatient clinics by providing clinical education to patients, caregivers and clinical teams. This role will float between main campus, Bellevue, and Village Pointe.

Requirements
- RN license in Nebraska or Compact state license
- Minimum of three years Registered Nurse (RN) experience OR combination of relevant LPN experience (three years LPN experience equals one year RN experience) inclusive of minimum one year in RN role
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) required unless candidate meets Exception A or Exception B
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and make independent clinical judgments
- Experience with basic patient care equipment, policy procedure and protocol manuals
- Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary team
- Effective critical thinking/analytical skills
- Currently licensed as Registered Nurse in state of Nebraska or current compact state license
